Wow, it has been almost one month since I last went back to camp. The feeling was shiok, as if I went for a long holiday. Hmm, maybe I should consider volunteering for more overseas exercise(s). Hehe, all expenses paid trip by SAF.

The main event that happened this week was the Ex. Tourmaline which was a major exercise for the reservist NSmen. My role is an umpire to assist them when necessary. I went down to Pasa Labar Camp (SAFTI) on Tuesday and stayed overnight in the command post. I feel that our presence was redundant as the NSmen already know their stuff and the 3rd Signal Battalion guys were proficient enough to provide real-time assistance. I was backing up the TAG server all day. Sianz. My reward: Mosquito bites. I wonder how many off days will be awarded.

The rest of the week was lazing in camp, watching tv, playing computer, serving the net and sleeping. I think I will become stupid if I carry on like this. Thanks to Warrant Raja, he awarded us 5 days off for the Ex. Crescendo in Thailand. My OFF is now 7 days, and have to maintain up to only five days (new directive). Will clear in June, hehe, clear in conjunction with the Great Singapore Sale. *And that does not include the 14 days annual leave that I haven clear*

Have to train hard next week for the upcoming IPPT test which will be held end of the month. Ya, there will be a signal cohesion on the eve of Vesak Day at East Coast Park for the 10 new guys who came in. Haven actually talked to them, but heard they are quite to themselves, worst of all, they ORD earlier than me (cos there were previously from 2SIB). Sian. Demoralized.

  • I may look ‘beng’ or ‘dao’, but I am actually an extrovert. Time will tell, I can yack non-stop, crap and express myself with the weirdest examples. I am crazy, but thats the way to distress ma. Being original, simple and honest are my primary goals in life, and I hate hypocrites and pretentious people. So devils, please stay away from me.

Backed in primary school, some catastrophe happened and that changed my goals in life. Well, I am working very hard for that ‘paper’ and that bright and promising future. $$$. I want to prove all those who have looked me down. I want to fight for that future!

“A promise made, will be delivered. And I hope for the same repayment” ...Come try me!

I have met some of my most important friends in life - god-send angels. I am grateful for their supportive and encouraging advices. We will work hard.

This is me, welcome to my world!

Met Since 1998. Alvin & BaoBao.
