OB officially ended, next Tuesday is the revision lecture. In terms of content coverage it ended two weeks ago as the presentation took two weeks to complete. As my group has finished presenting for OB, we decide not to attend, only appeared at the last hour for the course overview and grades review. We decide to finish up our Yeo’s project and we have closed shop, next Thursday is the showdown. In terms of printing, it cost us $10 to print around ten coloured posters and brochures and over 150++ of black-and-white papers. Some are brochures and notes for circulation. Anyway, the report is already binded. I am quite impressed by the project quality. Hope we can get A+. For Zara, we fell short, we only got an A, but it is already the best she have seen so far, maybe our presentation fell short below-time, that’s why we got a grade down, nonetheless, we faired well.

By the way, the OB curse hit me again. My worst grade in poly was OB and Management, scored B+ and B respectively. I guess I will fair the same in NTU as well. Out of the 60% coursework, I predict that I am at the B+ or B range (since they never reveal marks, only grades).

Article Arena (10%) = A-
OB Report (20%) = B
OB Presentation (10%) = A
OB Individual Report (20%) = B-
Overall = B/B+ (B category)

In order to push up to at least a B+, I must score like 85/100 in the exam which carries 40% weightage. How is it possible? I guess I will only end up with a B. Worst a B- or C+. Seriously, not used to seeing Bs and Cs. No choice, must learn to adjust. At least for other subjects, I am only seeing more As.

On Wednesday, our group had some Art ‘n Craft session, we made our prototype, Yeo’s sachet and tea bag. I am so impressed and we are blowing our advertisement posters to A3 styrofoam board. It’s a big project in the making. Stupid Yeo’s haven get to me on the sponsorship, I guess we will forgo the free goodie bag for the class. (Will post up the pictures after the presentation, need some suspense)

This weekend is not be a relax weekend, got Stats quiz (10%), Econs quiz (10%) and Comms Written Test (30%) plus a Yeo’s presentation (20%). Thank god, the disastrous Stats tutorial was completed on Friday after a long 4-hour struggle (as usual). The long weekends is to mug REALLY hard. Hai.

I only finish skimming though the econs notes, went through some past years’ MCQ questions. I guess it quite enough, tmr will practice the tutorials questions. And tmr I will finish studying my Stats, the second quiz got lesser content coverage.

The worst thing is that I don’t know how to study for the Comms Written Test. We only had one practice and will be chiong-ing for the 30% test. The bad thing is that it is 1.5 hours and one question only – writing a memo. Everyone was like huh?, need so long meh? But they want 1.5hours quality answers, I guess I will write a draft and seriously edit it to have positive emphasis, you-attitude and a letter that display goodwill.

Down with flu and running nose for two days, took panadols already still no use. I just pop a doctor’s medication and I feel so drowsy typing the post. I guess I am tuning early for the night.

By the way, Baoyin, I am so sorry. It is already the second time of the week, I failed to pick up your calls. I will call you tmr, so sorry.

  • I may look ‘beng’ or ‘dao’, but I am actually an extrovert. Time will tell, I can yack non-stop, crap and express myself with the weirdest examples. I am crazy, but thats the way to distress ma. Being original, simple and honest are my primary goals in life, and I hate hypocrites and pretentious people. So devils, please stay away from me.

    Backed in primary school, some catastrophe happened and that changed my goals in life. Well, I am working very hard for that ‘paper’ and that bright and promising future. $$$. I want to prove all those who have looked me down. I want to fight for that future!

    “A promise made, will be delivered. And I hope for the same repayment” ...Come try me!

    I have met some of my most important friends in life - god-send angels. I am grateful for their supportive and encouraging advices. We will work hard.

    This is me, welcome to my world!
