Enough of camp nonsense! My absence in on Monday and Tuesday saw a drastic change in the system. First, everyone has to fall in for 5BX every morning at 6.15am (reveille at 6am) instead of the usual 7.45am to account strength. What’s worst, one day we have to fall in 5 times, crazy army right? First at 6.15am, 7.45am (account strength), 11.30am (to go for lunch), 1.30pm (mid-day) and 5.30pm (last parade). Whose stupid idea was that, ain’t officers have brains to think and work out an optimal or (better still) a good plan? Paid so much, but never utilize the brain juice. Even BRC company fall in 3 times a day, given the fact, we fall in for the same good reasons. Morale of the story: They think for their men.

In fact, I heard the 5BX implementation was by the COA (Chief of Army), hmm, he so free to implement this kind of thing meh? He should look into the welfare benefits instead and change the perception of how pre-enlistees and NSFs think about army.

The next change is that for all parades, it must be in Smart4, last parade we usually clad in admin, now have to wait till 5.30pm then can change. Brainless bunch of idiots! Because of some uncooperative people, we get new implementations. Sometimes, I wonder if the Signal storemen should be included as the strength of Signal Company. They sewed a different formation sign but yet classified under signals. They are often the ones who “misbehaves” and cause all the unnecessary change that disrupt our peace.

Last change is the off issue. With effect from 1 January 2008, all off records will be set to zero. In other words, they are monitoring the offs. My say is that off won’t be easy to earn in future since our 2IC is so stingy with offs since he doesn’t like us to go on “holiday”. The problem here is he feels you deserve then he rewards, not like that pass, if you participate in exercises (setting up CPs, hardwork preparation), you sure get something. Now, life would be more miserable. Our OC stand is that OFF is a privilege not an entitlement. So if I don’t finish clearing my off, you know why. Now take off still have to get his approval, stupid army always waste my time.

I intend to clear off coming Monday to Wednesday for some personal issues at home but ended up I am only to clear Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday I can go only after the IPPT has finished. WTF, isn’t that wasting my off, but I have no choice, I still need to go. Don’t they know I stay in Tampines, from that stupid camp, I have to travel so far back. Transportation cost is one thing, time is another. Brainless! I have nothing to say, suck thumb (like what they always say).

Life gonna be bad for everyone. I am not anticipating for 2008 as major changes will continue to be implemented. Sometimes I wonder if I have posted to the wrong unit (for the rubbish work), at least not the people. My platoon mates are okay, PC is fine except lack of technical knowledge. A wayang brigade means more shit piling.

Wednesday’s brigade cohesion was bad, it was games finals in the morning, BRC won all the games – badminton, street soccer and captain’s ball. We headed Plaza Singapura for movie – Rendition. 126 minutes of torture. Hmm, I don’t like, some people are watching their iPod instead. I was munching on my popcorn to kill time. But I can see their effort to organise better cohesion rather than smelling the fouling air in camp. Good effort, but need to try harder! WoOhOo, Friday is brigade off (as expected).

  • I may look ‘beng’ or ‘dao’, but I am actually an extrovert. Time will tell, I can yack non-stop, crap and express myself with the weirdest examples. I am crazy, but thats the way to distress ma. Being original, simple and honest are my primary goals in life, and I hate hypocrites and pretentious people. So devils, please stay away from me.

Backed in primary school, some catastrophe happened and that changed my goals in life. Well, I am working very hard for that ‘paper’ and that bright and promising future. $$$. I want to prove all those who have looked me down. I want to fight for that future!

“A promise made, will be delivered. And I hope for the same repayment” ...Come try me!

I have met some of my most important friends in life - god-send angels. I am grateful for their supportive and encouraging advices. We will work hard.

This is me, welcome to my world!
