Lucky that I am on COS duty on Tuesday, I can siam away much of the IS work… at least for two days. Well, life is still the same, being prostituted everyday. I re-installed the server for two days alone and spent sleepless nights and forgoing my two nights-off just to fix this problem and refraining the rest of the IS guys from having to spend their weekends in camp with me to clear up this mess. They are new, I have no chance to teach them, except to observe me. Borg on the other hand, seems to neglect them.

It seems that I am the suay person, ever since Chun Hoe and gang ORD-ed, things does not go that smoothly as before and things (HA Server) start breaking down. For instance, one hour ago, the system was working and after lunch when I return , it was not working anymore. Ya, the discs that I was using 6 months ago were not working already. 3 discs and coincidently, it’s the first three discs. I am just stuck at square one. We have to borrow from Stagmont Camp in order to finish installing on time.

The rest of the IS guys took shift to go Stagmont Camp on three days to audit our laptops but they were too new, hence, there were a lot of doubts and I have clear it. Sian (again), already so much things to do, but trouble does not stop. I am not blaming them, but one fine day if I can’t take it, I’ll go mad. And I am fuming with one thing, of the 48 laptops that were brought to Stagmont, I told my PC that it don’t need to wipe cos it makes no sense that you bring the laptops with no operating system for audit when they can’t even switch on to Windows. But, after clarifying from his side, he insists that we wiped CLEAN cos he was threatened that if he don’t follow instructions properly, he will be reported to higher authorities. Eventually, they found out (during the first day of audit) it does not need to be wiped, “clean” refers to it is free from viruses and games. *Roll eyes* I just don’t understand why I am doing all this while Borg can be so relaxed as though he is not facing much stress. Tong Ren Bu Tong Ming.

The poor new IS guys had to re-clone all the laptops. At least, after sleepless nights, the server is up except I got one hard disk that is not working and the backing up of data to the new server which will take a hell out of time from me. Lucky that Ex.Tiger Jack has been pushed back to 5th October 2007 instead of Monday. I guess I am able to catch some breath next week. And what’s worst, the CCIS platoon is already that big with 10 guys and CSM told me that they will be 3 more new IS guys posting in. I don’t mind forgoing them to other platoons cos too much a number is unmanageable.

Backed in primary school, some catastrophe happened and that changed my goals in life. Well, I am working very hard for that ‘paper’ and that bright and promising future. $$$. I want to prove all those who have looked me down. I want to fight for that future!
