Humans are the most cunning creatures, especially the black ones. That Jocelin is giving extras for free. Although I haven been in camp for two weeks (cos when I was back, it was company off), I am still aware of the happenings in camp. Because our IS platoon is so cohesive, we go out for dinners like one a month, this Dec, we went for one already, next week, there will be another one. They are like my reporters. Yong Rui got 7 extras for his long side burn caught by that 5SIR’s CSM (a Master Sergeant who yacks so much) during our last guard duty. Xianzu got 3 for not picking up his phone when he was the reserve guard on Saturday. Well, well, it looks like the IS platoon would be her prime targets (correction: one of her prime targets, not forgetting the newly posted guys). She really lives up to her title, “always targeting new guys”. It’s obviously right, cos her old radio guys are seldomly called for saigang and they can breathe happily in bunk.

It is obviously that getting 7 extras is very common. Can’t we revert back to the old good happy life? Everyone was happy then. We don’t have to go around holding each others’ balls (at least not for me). I am giving up already, no more enthusiasm, no more extra responsibilities, I am only doing my minimal (required) and NOT optimal and I will be a robot from next year. Meaning: What U say, I will act… Whether it’s right or wrong, I will just take instructions. There will be no more value-added services. I am tired. Where do all the credits go? Questionable huh?

Anyway, Ziwei reminded me that he received the letter from NTU, yes, I received too. I accepted the enrolment for August 2008 intake online already. As for me, I also requested the official letter on the commencement date since I still owe S1 Branch the document to complete my disruption. Come January, I will submit that (since I am still on leave) letter to Bryan and get it processed quickly. 8 months more to ORD, this 8 months would be the most difficult, with new kings changing the rules, the witch getting darker and wilder. Preparation for High Noon would be the toughest with so many exercises pending.

……. Hell is impeding.
