First event of the year in camp was the company sharing session where each platoon had to draft out a list of goals and changes to improve our well-being. It’s looks more like a debrief for 2007. The three-hour session sees more complains, such as more nights off, change of facilities, early book out…. My guess is that, only some will be taken into consideration. And from next Monday, OC will take his leave and post out while 2IC take up his position as OC. On the same day, the change of training programme was briefed, with PT lessons every morning alternate with SOC trainings conducted fortnightly. However, many think that the “wonderful” plan would not materalise as it does not take into account of CP drills, more exercises and Ex. High Preparations (especially the tones of paperwork and planning) into picture which will ruin “that” plan. Time will tell, and I believe that I will be right. On the same day, I did my first guard duty for 2008. Everything went fine, except that the BOS was abit up.
Ooh, the WITS project that I was involved in was chosen for further enhancement and to produce a prototype. We, Allan, Ziwei and Me, spent one after to draw out the common loaned stores and took every single part and make it into a photo catalog. So whenever one wants to loan anything, he will go through photo catalog and he will know what the items to loan. It’s like you buy a Filet ‘O Fish Meal, you will expect a fish burger, 16oz drink and medium fries. It works the same here. Our project have already been presented to the Brigade Commander yesterday but there is no news from SSG Calvin (congrats to his promotion, hehe). On the same day, I received news that I was nominated for the brigade’s Best Soldier of the Month, haha, I guess I won’t win, cos Signal Company usual lose. Furthermore, competition is quite tough, with Ding Kiat nominated too (his contributed in MMT is so huge, produced over 10 videos for the Brigade), HQ and BRC well, I’m not sure who got nominated. Well, I’m positive about not winning. As what celebrities always say, getting nominated is being recognised for that effort, winning is about luck.

I may look ‘beng’ or ‘dao’, but I am actually an extrovert. Time will tell, I can yack non-stop, crap and express myself with the weirdest examples. I am crazy, but thats the way to distress ma. Being original, simple and honest are my primary goals in life, and I hate hypocrites and pretentious people. So devils, please stay away from me.
Backed in primary school, some catastrophe happened and that changed my goals in life. Well, I am working very hard for that ‘paper’ and that bright and promising future. $$$. I want to prove all those who have looked me down. I want to fight for that future!
