While the entire 5SIR is on their two weeks off, the brigade came back on Thursday after a one week hiatus. Sian, why the life in HQ so bad? I thought we can have longer offs after Highnoon. The first thing we did on Thursday was to unload all the stores from the three containers. We spent like the entire morning to pasa malam our stores outside the company line, I chose a good spot for our platoon and the counting and coiling of power cables took me one hours or so. We much countings. We have to separate out the stores that we ain’t ours and put them in the network room. Thank god, we only lost one mouse eventually. Probably get it from the upcoming PC fair. Transport arrangements have been indented for the entire week, and it looks like I will be going around Singapore to return stores that we borrowed for the exercise. It will be fun, going out of camp, visiting other camp’s canteen and emarts. Haha.

We had a mini AAR in the afternoon and a so-called briefing of the upcoming events. We were shocked to hear that there will be two exercises coming up. With one in mid-june plus one PBH somewhere there too. End November to December there will be one major exercise too, sian, isn’t that the time I will be coming back to serve my remainding 5-week of NS liability? I just can’t run away from exercises. Well, I made it clear, Bo Hong has taken over me and my role there is just minimal. Just came back from Taiwan, isn’t it supposed to be low-key? Why are they scheduling for so many exercise, why happened to the other two active brigades? It seems that 3SIB is always the active one. What’s worst, there will be a comms trial next week and ten unlucky guys have been selected for Ops Vigilant to look for that Mas Selmat.

Thinking that Friday would be slack. I was wrong. The PT that BRC conducted almost killed everyone. Although it was just normal three rounds around camp, the additional static exercises between each round could have killed us…

Didn’t have the chance to power up the HA server, thus not sure if it is still working. Haha, gotta wait for Bo Hong to on it on Wednesday when he comes back for a one-day off tomorrow. Shall not clear any offs in May, saving for June. Think I will have around 10 days of off, and I gonna use it in June. As for July, my 10-day leave will come in. Ya, my disrupt is approved. My new ORD date is 31-July-2008. Don’t know why they called it ORD date, instead of disrupt date. And I get to choose when I wanna come back. I get to do my clearance and FFI and get to get back my pink IC. Ironic?
