Wow. It looks like those June people have all ORD-ed and it is like a whole lot of them, to be exact – 14. Can’t wait to get my pink IC on 31 July 2008 when I officially disrupt. I don’t care if I haven ORD, I just want to get away from the SAF, guard duties, COS duties and what other regimental stuff. So sian. My last eight weeks only had four days in camp as I applied leave on Monday. The 3 Signals setup was cancelled, hmm, expected, thus we were practically slacking in camp the whole week. This was brought official with the deaths of the two NSFs in the same week where they cease exercises for three days. I am not in the position to comment on their deaths, mouth sealed by brigade commanders. That’s how the SAF works.

Was the COS on Tuesday and I met a super-garang BOS. Wow, he fall-in all the COS in front of the guard house for briefing and told us to get our men to do area cleaning and warned us not to be late for cookhouse duty. As Signal Company is in-charge of the cleanliness of the fish pond and office’s corridor area, we had to clean. The sickening thing was his inflexibility. Who the hell will do cookhouse duty for lunch from 11.15am to 1.30pm, dinner 5.15pm to 7.30pm and breakfast 5.15am to 8am. That’s what the book writes, but do you think that’s necessary. Since he so garang, all the COS played along. Even the staff parade at night, he made all the guards and COS fall-in in the rain despite thunder. Cannot take it. No wonder my blood pressure cannot be normal.

Speaking about blood pressure, I rested for Wednesday and went to see the Medical Officer with the NTU’s doctor’s letter. Coincidentally, the MO is our brigade MO and he talked and examined me for more than thirty minutes. He can’t diagnosed why my blood pressure is above normal when I passed all the tests. He put it as hypertension. Thus, he referred me to the Internal Medicine, Changi General Hospital for further checkups and blood tests. I am just worried of the outcome. No one in the family tree has high blood, thus it is not generic, so what is it? Too stress or bad temper. If that’s the case, then I got more friends who are likely to get that. The appointment is on 29 July, which falls on my QET (Qualifying English Test at NTU), hopefully the time doesn’t overlap.

Baoyin was right, she highlighted that I could have high blood when we played at the blood pressure machine years back at Eastpoint Mall. I believe we were young and did not that to heart. And also, Sylbest who fainted while going back from school one day and was suspected for high blood. That worried the whole class and Ms Goh. I believe for Sylbest case was stress as he was juggling with multiple leadership role (band major and head prefect) and keeping up with his school work. But now, Sylbest looks okay. Should I be worrying so much? My PES status is A, so it means I’m absolutely fine before I enlist. Is army the real casue?

  • I may look ‘beng’ or ‘dao’, but I am actually an extrovert. Time will tell, I can yack non-stop, crap and express myself with the weirdest examples. I am crazy, but thats the way to distress ma. Being original, simple and honest are my primary goals in life, and I hate hypocrites and pretentious people. So devils, please stay away from me.

Backed in primary school, some catastrophe happened and that changed my goals in life. Well, I am working very hard for that ‘paper’ and that bright and promising future. $$$. I want to prove all those who have looked me down. I want to fight for that future!

“A promise made, will be delivered. And I hope for the same repayment” ...Come try me!

I have met some of my most important friends in life - god-send angels. I am grateful for their supportive and encouraging advices. We will work hard.

This is me, welcome to my world!
