Returned to camp on Monday night after clearing my Monday off. Hmm, life is gonna be like that for the next eight weeks. Ivan gathered all the IS guys and briefed them about the upcoming exercises. Gosh, that’s a lot and almost every month, there is an exercise. This June, there are already three IS events and in July, one major exercise, one PBH, one range and one COC parade. Aiyo. The good thing is that I will be excluded from the planning, stores and server maintenance (somehow, but still need to be there to help out), so the new guys can take up my job. Wonder the new team headed by Xian Zu, Bo Hong and Yong Rui will gonna be. I’ve been watching them, but I think the climax is not approaching as yet, haha, even Yong Rui said “How long more will we have to act up (for Alvin)?”, they are just worried that one day they will disagree with each other and start having disputes. Hmm, that’s part and parcel of life, just bare with it! I am just worried for Bo Hong, thus I have to impart as much knowledge to him as possible and those server troubleshootings is difficult to teach as the real problem must exist in order to teach, as we are in peace-time, no exercise, no problems, I guess I have to wait for opportunities.

The new team’s working style is indeed very different from mine. Instructions for exercise will usually come from Ivan and instructions for work will come from Bo Hong and amplified by Yong Rui for now. Hmm, they are those, slow and steady type, unlike me, I prefer to finish everything as told as I anticipate more shit will come along the way. Both have their advantages. Bo Hong is starting to question more about exercise details pertaining to his job scope, good. I guess he learned very quickly. However, conflicts among themselves is what I observed which I think will hinder their success.

I have done up my leave forecast. I have 10 leaves and 9 offs that are uncleared. Well, S1 Branch is still checking for me if I can keep some of my leaves when I come to serve my remaining liability in December. Everything is kind of in a mess, not sure of orientation dates, worried that exercise date will clashed with my off (but I hack care already) and so many more… I can’t disrupt in peace!!

For those who ORD-ed today and coming Monday, I envy you all and wish you best of luck. As for tofu, I'll see you in school.
